„Kissed by the sun“ – there is no better way of describing the fantastic location of Villa Flora at  Scopello.

Each of its four terraces faces one of the cardinal directions, so both sun worshippers and bookworms seeking shade are sure to find their ideal spots.  

As Villa Flora is found in exposed location, you have got sunshine from morning to evening and always an amazing view of the deep blue Mediterranean Sea, even from the bedrooms.

The fragrance of the apricot, fig and cherry trees growing on the 5,000 m² premises, besides olive trees and Mediterranean macchia, tickles your senses.

Experience unforgettable holidays at Villa Flora, framed by sea and mountains and not far from world famous sights, such as the well-known town of Monreale near Palermo.

A picturesque bathing bay is about 2 km off.

The spacious layout does not only go for the outdoor area but also for the villa’s interior. The 140 m² of living space include three bedrooms, one with double bed, one with both double bed and bunk bed, one with bunk bed.

The holiday home has two bathrooms (shower, WC/bidet and bathtub, WC/bidet), a living room with fireplace and SAT-TV as well as an eat-in kitchen (gas stove, oven, coffee machine, refrigerator with freezer compartment).

What is sure to fascinate you is the sea view the bedrooms and the living room open upon.

When we were onsite, friendly owner Mariella told us that they had decided to leave even some of the family’s favorite items at the holiday home, for example the 18th century clock in the living room and antique chests of drawers in the bedrooms.

The dependance on the ground floor remains unoccupied.

Spacious outdoor area with 4 terraces

In the garden, the friendly owning family, who lives at Castellammare del Golfo, has created an oasis of well-being adorned by colorful flowers. On each of the four terraces you find garden furniture and sunbeds are at your disposal.

On the main terrace, which is accessible from the living area, make yourself comfortable in the rocking chair and let your thoughts run free while your gaze wanders across the evergreen landscape and the sea.

Furnishing

Furnishing of Villa Flora includes, amongst others, air conditioning with heating system, fireplace, washing machine, iron and ironing board, fly-screens, SAT-TV with international programs, WiFi and outdoor grill.

Parking: There are two roofed parking spaces on the premises, next to the house.

Surroundings of the villa

A restaurant and a bus stop (connections to Castellammare del Golfo, San Vito Lo Capo and Trapani) are only 500 m off. It is about 2 km to the bathing bay of Cala Bianca.

You can do your shopping at the supermarket Scopello Market, 6 km off, which belongs to the father of Villa Flora’s owner. You are granted a 5 % discount on your shopping or you can profit from the free delivery service of the groceries you require to your holiday home.

Scopello with small shops, bar and restaurant is 6 km off. The small harbor town of Castellammare del Golfo with more restaurants, shops and bars is about 7 km off.

Tips for excursions

When staying at Scopello, do go on a discovery tour of Sicily’s authentic nature.

The entrance to gorgeous nature reserve "Riserva dello Zingaro" is found at the town's limits. On your hiking tour through the reserve you pass picturesque bays and get to admire a flora and fauna rich in species.

Should you be interested in culture, visit the town of Monreale with its majestic Norman cathedral. It takes you only one hour by car to get there.

Information about the town of Scopello
