Fishing boats rocking to and fro, golden sands at a gently sloping beach, locals who know what it means to appreciate a moment’s pause to let their gaze drift out to sea… Enjoy Italian dolce far niente, join in the relaxed manner and joie de vivre of the Sicilians.

Small Punta Secca became widely known after it had become a main setting of the "Commissario Montalbano" TV series. The "residence" of the headstrong Commissario at the beach is one of the most popular photo motifs. especially for fans of the detective series.

Another sight rises ca. 35 m high towards the sky at the beach of Punta Secca: the impressive lighthouse, which dates back to 1858.

The main village has a beautiful piazza, which is the meeting point of the locals, a Mother Church dedicated to Saint John the Baptist, which is worth stopping by, and several Art Nouveau buildings.

The marvelous sandy beach of Punta Secca has free sections as well as sections with service. 

Punta Secca and the neighboring seaside resorts, for example Caucana with stores and bars, are lovely places where you can take it easy and have fun at the beach.
