Villa Mar dei Coralli - Holiday home at Fontane Bianche/Syracuse

A stone's throw from Syracuse lies popular bathing resort Fonte Bianche. The coast there is made up of rocky and sandy sections, the waters of the sea are crystal clear. Only about 100 m from one of the small rocky bays and the turquoise sea lies Villa Mar dei Coralli.     

Holiday home with Mediterranean flair

When you step through the entrance gate onto the property of Villa Mar dei Coralli, a beautiful garden welcomes you. It's the perfect place for sunbathing, reading or admiring the Sicilian variety of plants. In front of the entrance into the house, there's a small, roofed feel-food oasis with several seating accommodations to relax on.

You enter the villa into a room with a well-appointed kitchen area to your right and a cozy living area with several seating accommodations to your left. The holiday home's two bedrooms sleep 2 persons each. A children's bed can be provided and put up in the larger bedroom upon request.

Roof terrace with sea view

From the living area a spiral staircase runs up to Villa dei Coralli's roof terrace, where you can enjoy the Sicilian sun to the full and the view of the sea. It is also the perfect spot for relaxing in the early or late hours of the day. Early risers are sure to enjoy watching the sun rise over the Ionian Sea from up there.

Furnishing of the holiday home

Furnishing of the holiday home includes shower cabin/WC/bidet and washing machine in the bathroom, air conditioning (extra charge for use) in the two bedrooms and a fan. The kitchen is equipped with, amongst others, gas stove, electric oven, fridge-freezer, Italian moka pot and, of course, all kinds of dishes. A grill and an outdoor shower are at your disposal in the outdoor area. 

Parking is available on the fenced property.

Surroundings & tips for excursions

The nearest spot to go for a swim in the sea is only ca. 100 m from Villa dei Coralli; the nearest sandy beach is the lido of Fontane Bianche 4 km off. Restaurants and grocery stores are also found at Fontane Bianche and about 2 km from the holiday home. Above all during high season you can choose from among quite a number of restaurants, bars, grocery stores and kiosks.

Should you not have a car at your disposal, you might consider renting bikes. In this case, don't hesitate to inquire with us! 

If you wish for a bit of culture during your holidays, we recommend stopping by Noto. The UNESCO World Heritage listed, beautiful Baroque town is only 19 km off.

If you prefer walks along more solitary trails and through untouched nature, Oasi Vendicari is the place to go. The nature reserve ca. 25 km south of Fontane Bianche is a great place for hiking, bird watching, a swim in the sea or simply admiring Sicily's lush nature.
