If you love the sea, the sun and Sicily, you will feel at home at Villa Hibiscus, which lies in holiday home area San Lorenzo, apart from any larger roads and only a few steps from the beach.

Its well-tended garden is planted with palm trees, hibiscus and various herbs, which fill the evening air with their spicy fragrance, its interior is bright and friendly.

The house sleeps up to 6 persons in three bedrooms, two with double bed and one with twin beds. Air conditioning with heating device is found in all the bedrooms.

The spacious living-dining room is bright and tastefully furnished and connected with the kitchen (incl. fridge-freezer, oven, 4-burner gas stove, dish washer) by an open doorway. Both the living room and the kitchen open onto the outdoor area.

The bathroom is equipped with shower/WC/bidet. There is also a washing machine at your disposal at Villa Hibiscus.

Outdoor area

If you don't want to take part in the colorful hustle and bustle at the beach of San Lorenzo, you can take it easy and let the light sea breeze caress you on the villa's furnished terraces.

On the roofed terrace in front of the house and screened from view, you can relax in the shade, read a book... and in summer even watch TV. 

From the large roof terrace, which is kissed by the sun all day long and furnished with sun loungers, you have got a terrific view of San Lorenzo and the Gulf of Noto.

A grill and an outdoor shower are also at your disposal in the outdoor area.

Parking: You can park your car on the fenced premises.

Surroundings

San Lorenzo is a popular bathing resort at the southernmost tip of Sicily and well-known for its absolutely fantastic beaches.

There is a grocery store in town and there are small bars at the beach sections with service (open only during the summer months). Grocery stores and restaurants open year-round are found in the nearby larger towns of Marzamemi (2.5 km) and Pachino (5 km).

Tips for excursions

An excursion to Modica (40 km off) might be worth your while, not only if you are interested in culture.

Modica is famous for its magnificent late Baroque buildings and, for this reason, UNESCO World Heritage litsted. Stroll through its countless small alleys and admire the richly adorned buildings and churches.

Do not, however, neglect the culinary side of Modica. Treat yourself to a cup of "Cioccolata Modicana" and to some of the "dolci", of which there are so many different ones.
