By deciding in favor of holiday apartment Oasi Azzurra at Donnalucata, we are able to offer you another lovely holiday accommodation in fantastic location.

But it is not only the apartment’s location at the fine and gently sloping sandy beach, which is, of course, great for children. We were amazed at its very tasteful furnishing – it is simply con gusto (with taste) as the Italians say.

Friendly owner Stefania, who got around quite a bit herself and speaks English fluently, told us that the decorative elements in the apartment were brought back from all parts of the world, for example and amongst others from Algeria, Tunisia, Lebanon, Mexico and the USA. The apartment's highlight is, however and without doubt, the terrace, which seems to float above the sea.

The harbor and the center of Donnalucata with stores, restaurants and bars are within easy walking distance (ca. 500 m), which is also very convenient.

In the morning, stop by the nearby bakery for some breakfast rolls, and in the evening, treat yourself to some fresh fish dishes at one of the restaurants. A moonlight stroll back to your apartment along the beautiful seaside promenade tops off a perfect vacation day.

We recommend renting a car, if you want to get to know the surroundings of Donnalucata and the fascinating Baroque towns in southern Sicily.

Tasteful holiday apartment at Donnalucata

The apartment is located in a cul-de-sac, the Lungomare di Levante at the sandy beach di Micenci.

An outdoor staircase takes you to the charming apartment on the second floor of the house.

It includes a double bedroom with sea view window and air conditioning, a twin bedroom and a bathroom with shower, WC and bidet. The exclusive kitchen is furnished with granite countertop, oven, gas stove, microwave, refrigerator with freezer compartment and dish washer, the spacious living-dining room is furnished with, amongst others, TV and fireplace and opens onto the sea view terrace.

On the terrace you find sunbeds and garden furniture at your disposal. So, whenever you want, relax and enjoy the fantastic view and the gentle sea breeze 'at home'.

Furnishing

The holiday apartment features, amongst others, dish washer, TV, internet stick, air conditioning, fan heater, washing machine and fireplace.

Parking: You can park your car in the public parking spaces along the road below the holiday apartment. During high season parking spaces may however be hard to find.

Surroundings

Southern Sicily – country of Montalbano and rich in Baroque art. Those who know the Commissario Montalbano crime movies are sure to recognize quite a few settings in the area around Donnalucata.

Those interested in culture should absolutely not miss out on visiting the UNESCO listed Baroque towns of southern Sicily, for example Scicli only about 8 km off as well as Modica and Ragusa-Ibla.

Should you be planning to stay a bit longer, you might even take a boat trip from Pozzallo to Malta.
