At the long sandy beach of Donnalucata, Carmelo and Francesca have realized their dream of a small Sicilian beach house. Almost as soon as you step outside, you feel the golden sand tickling your soles.

The waves roll gently towards you on this still authentic coastal stretch, where you can enjoy wonderful holidays at any time of the year.

Should you really tire of these wide expanses of beach, then stop by Scicli, Ragusa, Ispica or Modica, charming Baroque towns not too far away. Strolling through the alleys, creamy ice cream in hand, is great, above all on mild summer evenings.

Nothing but sand and sea...

Casa Carmelo is the 1st-floor apartment in a 3-party terrace house, which you access via the beach.

The holiday apartment accommodates up to four persons and includes
- a bedroom with double bed;
- a living room with a sofa bed for 2, a cozy chair, a small dining table with chairs, TV and access of the sea view balcony;
- two bathrooms (shower cabin/WC/bidet each), one the en suite of the bedroom, the other one accessible from the living room;
- a kitchen unit (incl. gas stove, refrigerator, coffee machine) in the entrance area.

From the balcony you have got an uninhibited view of the sea and can watch what is going on at the beach. The canopy always provides for a shady spot.

Casa Carmelo also features: free WiFi, fly screens in all the windows, air conditioning in the living area and the bedroom.

The three apartments in the house share a laundry room with wash basin and washing machine in the inner courtyard. This also goes for the small garden with grill and sun loungers behind the house.

Parking: You can park your car in one of the public parking areas nearby.

Surroundings & shopping

Grocery stores, restaurants and bars open year-round are found in the center of Donnalucata, which you can walk to along the beach. Walking distance is about 800 m, by car it is about 2 km. 

Nearby, UNESCO World Heritage listed Scicli is a lovely, small town with well-preserved Baroque palazzi. Interesting for fans of the well-known Montalbano detective stories by the Sicilian author Andrea Camilleri: Scicli is one of the locations of the TV series.

A tip for water sports

If you love water sports, stop at Sicily's largest surf and kite surf center at Santa Maria del Focallo, which is about half an hour by car from Donnalucata.
