Una casa piena di ricordi - a house full of memories

As a happy occasion, the birth of their second daughter, decided the owners of Casa Marianna to move to their more spacious house in the countryside, Cilentano gladly accepted the offer to manage the rental of the apartment, which is named for the owners' first daughter.

Casa Marianna is a perfect holiday accommodation for our guests: location at the seaside with a bathing area only 100 m and the gently sloping sandy beach only 500 m off, spacious sea view terrace, comfortable furnishing.

The apartment is located on the second floor of the owners’ parental home at Lido di Avola. A separate outdoor staircase runs up to the terrace, from where you enter the holiday apartment.

Comfortable holiday apartment with WIFI

The owners decided to leave, amongst others, aquarelles made by the owner and which feature atmospheric impressions of Noto, 19th century furniture, such as the wonderful bookshelf, and Liberty-style upholstered furniture at the apartment, which make for a special, personal touch. The beautiful wood beamed ceiling and tasteful wood flooring top off the ambience. 

The spacious living-dining room has got a cozy sofa corner with TV. From the kitchen (incl. 4-burner gas stove, small oven, refrigerator with freezer compartment) you can 'keep an eye on' the sea while preparing your meals.

The living-dining room opens into a hallway which takes you to the three bedrooms and the two bathrooms (shower, WC/bidet; bathtub, WC/bidet).

Two of the bedrooms are furnished with double beds, the larger double opens onto a small sea view balcony. The third bedroom with queen-size bed has got a cozy reading corner with bookshelf and offers access of the rear terrace.

Furnishing of Casa Marianna also includes WIFI, air conditioning with heating system (extra charge for use), washing machine, ironing board and iron.

Spacious outdoor area with sea view

As Sicily is located on the same latitude as North Africa, summer season on Italy's largest island often starts as early as end of March and lasts to the end of November.

You can enjoy the terrace of Casa Marianna, where high-quality wooden garden furniture, loungers and a garden swing make for a pleasant outdoor atmosphere, almost all year round: be it by taking long sunbaths, by gazing at the stars on clear summer nights, by delighting in a leisurely breakfast on the roofed part, which provides shelter from the sun and might be welcome above all in midsummer.

Parking: You can park your car along the road (cul-de-sac), next to the house.

Surroundings and excursions

The sea with bathing area is only 100 m off. A 500-meter walk takes you to the nearest sandy beach with lido, lounger and sun shade rental. Besides the stretch of beach with service, there is also a free area.

Shops, bars and restaurants are found 500 m to 1 km off.

While vacationing at Avola, enjoying the sea and the beach is a matter of course. Including, for example, excursions in your holiday program might still be worth considering. Noto, Sicily's magnificent and probably most beautiful Baroque town, is surely worth a closer look.

At Cava Grande di Cassibile (with its waterfalls) in the hinterland of Avola you get to admire Sicily's gorgeous nature.
