Room No. 1, which we have chosen for you, is held in warm colours and includes a double bed, a bathroom (shower cabin, WC), TV, W-LAN free of charge, air conditioning with integrated heating system as well as a furnished balcony which looks upon Corso Matteotti with its cafes and shops.
Enjoy the fantastic view from the roof terrace of your accommodation upon Syracuse and both sides of the sea washing around the peninsula!
A rich breakfast is served in the breakfast room of the Bed & Breakfast. Here, you get to know visitors from many different nations and build up strength for the day to come!
Journey:
Catania airport is about an hour's drive north of Syracuse.
You can park your car on the peninsula of Ortigia, in a car park 400 m from your accommodation. Parking is free of charge during the day, from 21.00 to 07.00 hours you pay 1 € per night.
From 07.30 to 21.00 hours, there is free shuttle service at a 10-minute cycle to the piazza at which the partly traffic-reduced zone of Ortigia begins and which is at a walking distance of about 50 m from the Bed & Breakfast.
Should you arrive by train at the main station of Syracuse, a bus will take you to Oritigia in no more than a few minutes. The bus stop is about 50 m from B&B Globetrotter.

Destinations for excursions:
South of Isola di Siracusa, you can stop, for example, at the long sandy beach of Fontane Bianche, at the beautiful Baroque towns of Avola and Noto as well as at the famous nature reserve of Oasi Vendicari. The latter is a place of rest for migratory birds on their way to Africa in winter and invites visitors to go for a swim at its marvellous beaches.
In the hinterland of Syracuse, the necropolis of Pantálica with its 5000 tomb caves, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and the deep gorge of the Anapo river await you at nature reserve „Riserva Naturale Orientata“.
Mount Etna is about an hour's drive north of Syracuse.
