In the picturesque Old town of Lipari, only a stone’s throw from the sea, lies the beautiful Bed & Breakfast Villa Liberty.
It is only a few metres to the old harbour of the nice district of Marina Corta. A fantastic view of the deep blue sea unfolds before you from the panorama roof terrace of the hotel.
Here, you can start off each vacation day in a relaxed mood with a cappuccino and a cornetto and enjoy the Sicilian sun. For breakfast, you will be served various delicacies typical for the Aeolian Islands, e.g. home-made „pasticciotti“, pastry filled with jam.
The room we have chosen for you is a double with private bathroom and balcony.
Upon request, we will gladly arrange for other rooms at Villa Liberty, among others three-bed and four-bed rooms.
Furthermore, the rooms offer TV, Wireless-LAN as well as air conditioning and heating.
The nearest beach is about 500 metres from your Lipari hotel. Other beaches on the island are best reached by boat – boat landing at Marina Corta is only 400 metres off.
The sandy beach of Canneto, which is about two kilometres off, is among Lipari’s most beautiful beaches – you can take the bus there from Marina Corta.
During your stay, the friendly owner of Villa Liberty, Signora Cincotta, will gladly provide advice for various excursions and help you on with any other kind of information and tips.
At Quattropiani in the north western part of the island of Lipari, we recommend a stop at the restaurant Sangre Rojo, which belongs to the owner of Villa Liberty. Besides Sicilian delicacies, you can enjoy a wonderful view of Alicudi, Filicudi and the east coast of Sicily.
The Aeolian Islands to the north-east of Sicily are a true holiday paradise: the „sette perle“ („seven pearls“) Alicudi, Filicudi, Lipari, Panarea, Salina, Stromboli and Vulcano enchant you with magnificent, varied landscapes and crystal clear water.
Sicily vacationers should not miss out on a trip to this island dream. Each of these islands, which have been declared UNESCO World Natural Heritage, has its own character and waits for its regional distinctions to be discovered.
Lipari is the main island of the Aeolian Islands and, therefore, the liveliest and most visited. Its landscape is extremely varied and charming.
There are various ways to get to Lipari: Hydrofoils depart from Milazzo, Messina, Naples, Palermo and Reggio Calabria. Boats depart from Milazzo and Naples. The nearest airports are at Catania, Palermo, Reggio Calabria and Naples.
