Villa Chiara is located in the municipality of the small town of Scicli, which is a World Heritage Site and lies near the nature reserve Irminio named after the river of the same name.
Those who spend their holidays here want to enjoy the sea and the beach, discover culture and experience nature – without having to cover great distances.
The holiday home is part of a small scattered settlement between Donnalucata and Plaia Grande. The nearest sandy beach is about 1 km off.
Villa Chiara faces the sea, embedded in a well-tended garden with Mediterranean plants. The partly roofed terrace runs round the house. Whether you are having breakfast or dinner – the sea will always be there, before your eyes.
The terrace gives access to the tastefully furnished living room (with TV) with integrated dining area and built-in kitchen. Due to the large picture windows, the room is bright and friendly. From the living area you have also got a view of the sea.
The double room with its access to the terrace and its rattan furniture appears elegant and comfortable at the same time. Furthermore, there is a twin bedroom at your disposal. Your bathroom is equipped with shower/bidet/WC.
Particularly handy: in a separate washroom, you will find a washing machine and a basin for your hand wash. An outdoor shower comes in useful after a day at the beach.
You can park your car in front of the house.
Part of the house is used by the owners as a depository for private belongings.
At Plaia Grande, which is about 1 km off, you can go shopping, order a creamy cappuccino in one of the café-bars and treat yourself to the tasteful Sicilian cuisine in one of the restaurants in the evening. It is also worth visiting the fish market 5 km off at Donnalucata, the "frazione marinara" of Scicli.

The southeast of Sicily alone provides sufficient highlights for an extended journey.

Numerous nature reserves, such as the nearby Riserva del Fiume Irmino or the so-called "Grand Canyon of Sicily" near Cassibile, and untouched nature offer a home to rare species of plants and animals.
The wide sandy beaches between Portopalo and Scoglitti promise true bathing pleasure.
And, of course, visits to the Baroque beauties of Scicli, Ragusa, Modica and Noto as well as a trip to Syracuse with its wonderful Old Town are a must on your holiday programme for Sicily.
