Casa Parisi offers holiday atmosphere at its best: this holiday home in southeast Sicily is located only 50 metres from the wonderful, wide sandy beach of the fishing village of Sampieri.

For those who wish to spend a holiday at the seaside and take part in original Sicilian village life Casa Parisi is exactly the right place. The holiday home is also an ideal starting point for excursions to the towns of Scicli, Ragusa, Modica and Noto, which the UNESCO has declared World Heritage Sites.

It is not in the least surprising that Sampieri’s kilometres of beach have been chosen as a main setting of the Commissario Montalbano series. Fantastic sandy beach as far as you can see and crystal clear water promise fun at the beach in every way.

Do as the Sicilian superintendent does – walk along the beach or dive into the clear water of the sea.

The former fisherman’s house Casa Parisi with its wonderful roof terrace was built at the end of the 19th century and is centrally located, in a one-way street only about 50 metres from the beach. A supermarket and other shops are just around the corner.

Attraction at the coast of Sampieri: the old brickworks destroyed by fire.

The fishing village of Sampieri counts among the coastal villages most characteristic for the southeast coast of Sicily. Houses of stone hugging each other/nestling against each other in the numerous small alleys give this coastal town its original character.

From the beautifully laid out promenade, you will catch sight of the old brickworks destroyed by fire, a popular motive at the east coast of Sampieri.

During your holiday in southeast Sicily, you should not miss out on excursions to the "Baroque jewels of Noto valley".

The impressing towns of Scicli (10 km from Sampieri), Modica (25 km off), Ragusa (38 km off) and Noto (41 km off) were declared World Heritage Sites by the UNESCO and are characterized by their Baroque style buildings which were built after the devastating earthquake of 1693.
