A fascinating coastal landscape, wonderful sandy beaches and the turquoise blue sea will never let you forget your holiday in one of the most beautiful parts of south eastern Sicily: the two well-tended holiday homes Ville Oasi Vendicari are only 50 metres from the beach of San Lorenzo and 250 metres from the idyllic natural reserve Oasi Vendicari.
This natural reserve with is various hiking routes, untouched beaches and archaeological sites is a promise for an eventful holiday. Ville Oasi Vendicari are also an ideal starting point for excursions into the surrounding area, e.g. to the Baroque gem of Noto about 20 kilometres off.
The holiday homes Ville Oasi Vendicari are two duplex houses about 30 metres apart. Casa Palme, part of the somewhat larger duplex house, is surrounded by a spacious, ca. 700 m² palm garden.
Casa Ulivo includes a small Mediterranean garden with olive trees. Both holiday homes offer two altogether 40 m² terraces, one of which is roofed; there you can give in to the „dolce far niente“ and enjoy the Sicilian sun. The outdoor showers come in handy at the end of a long day at the beach. Besides, there is a barbecue in each of the gardens.
Both Casa Palme as well as Casa Ulivo were built in 2005 and are tastefully furnished. High ceilings add to the special charm of the houses which are of similar layout.

Upon entering, there is a kitchen-cum-living room with sofa, dining table and TV where you can sit together comfortably. At Casa Palme, you can make use of a baking oven, at Casa Ulivo, one can be furnished upon request. Both holiday homes accommodate up to six persons, offering two double bedrooms each as well as a twin bedroom (Casa Palme) resp. a bedroom with bunk bed (Casa Ulivo). The bathrooms at Ville Oasi Vendicari are equipped with shower, WC and bidet. Furthermore, there is an extra WC where you will also find the washing machine.
Each holiday home also offers a fan and two electric heaters which provide for a pleasant stay on warmer as well as cooler days. A children’s cot can be furnished upon request and for an extra fee.
Should you wish to explore the area around San Lorenzo by bike, you can rent bikes onsite after prior inquiry at our agency.
You can park your car on the fenced premises of Casa Palme and Casa Ulivo. From June to September, you can do your shopping at a grocery store about 800 metres off. For the rest of the year, the nearest shopping facilities are to be found at Pachino, 6.5 kilometres off.
The natural reserve of Oasi Vendicari, which is characterized by dunes and lagoons, is considered a true paradise for birds. Besides a multitude of migratory birds, e.g. flamingos, storks and cormorants, you can watch terrapins, too. The unspoilt nature of the reserve can be explored along various hiking trails.
Those interested in culture will also get their money’s worth during their stay at Oasi Vendicari. The magnificent Baroque buildings at Noto, 20 kilometres off and a Unesco World Heritage Site, are fascinating. You should not miss out on an excursion to the nearby charming coastal town of Marzamemi either.

The prices of the holiday homes are valid per week and for the number of persons given in brackets including final cleaning. Towels and bed linen can be furnished for a fee of 10 Euro per person and week
Upon request, in-between cleaning during your stay is possible for 8 Euro/hour.
Possible costs for heating (electric heaters) will be charged on the spot according to use. A deposit of 100 Euro is due upon arrival.
* In the rental periods 27.03.-22.05.2010 and 02.-30.10.2010 there will be a surcharge of 25 Euro for the 5th resp. 6th person each.
