A holiday at Casa Antonina in the south-east of the island combines all these Sicilian characteristics in a unique way: only 300 metres lie between the spacious holiday home and the beautiful sandy beach of Lido di Noto – from the terrace you can catch a sideway glimpse of the deep blue sea.
The Unesco World Heritage Site of Noto with its magnificent Baroque buildings is about 6.5 kilometres off. Thus, lovers of nature as well as of culture will surely get their money’s worth.
The Mediterranean holiday home is located on a ca. 400 m² property planted with lemon trees. Two spacious terraces, one roofed, and the garden are just the place to relax and offer enough space for children to play and romp about.
Sipping your morning cappuccino on the terrace, your eyes turned toward the sea and the green surroundings, your Southern Italian holiday dreams may come true. The outdoor shower provides for pleasant refreshment at the end of a long summer day at the beach. And, the barbecue comes in handy for a relaxed evening.
Casa Antonina is a single-story holiday home of about 80 m². Up to now, it has been for private use by the owners, which is reflected in the sure sense of style concerning the furnishing: there is wooden as well as rattan furniture, the rooms are lovingly decorated, thus making the house comfortable and bright. The high ceilings are particularly nice, too.

Upon entering, there is the spacious living-cum-dining room with a bed sofa, a sofa and a dining table. On cooler days, the fireside will surely be welcome. In the living area, you will also find Sat-TV. In the nice brick-work eat-in kitchen, you can prepare fresh Sicilian delicacies. Besides a full oven, there is also a microwave as well as a German type coffee machine.
The three bedrooms of Casa Antonina sleep up to six persons: in a double, a twin where the beds can be put next to each other and a third room with a bunk bed. The twin bedroom has an en suite bathroom with shower, WC and bidet. The second bathroom of the holiday home is equipped likewise.
If you decide to stay on for a while at Casa Antonina, the washing machine will come in handy. Air conditioning with integrated heating system provides for pleasant temperatures in summer and in winter.
Should you need a children’s cot, the owner will gladly furnish one upon request.
You can park your car on the fenced premises of the holiday home. From April to October, the nearest shopping facility is 200 metres off. For the rest of the year, shopping is done at Avola, about six kilometres off. Some of the restaurants at Lido di Noto are open all year round.

The location of Casa Antonina is ideal for exploring the south-east of Sicily with its numerous sights. From Lido di Noto, the impressive towns of the Sicilian Baroque – Noto, Modica and Ragusa – are easy to reach. 35 kilometres off, Syracuse offers not only a picturesque Old Town, but also a significant archaeological site. At the nearby natural reserve Oasi Vendicari, lovers of nature will find an untouched coastal landscape waiting to be discovered on hiking tours.
Those interested in the production of olive oil, can accompany the owner’s brother to take part in olive harvesting during autumn months and witness the way the oil is produced afterwards.

The prices of the holiday home are valid per week and for the number of persons given in brackets, including bed linen, towels and final cleaning. Heating (air conditioning with integrated heating system) will be charged on the spot according to use. Wood for the fireside is furnished free of charge by the owner.
A deposit of 200 Euro is due upon arrival.
