The holiday home is located in a private villa and holiday park in the nature reserve “Oasi del Simeto”. Within the protected zone of the reserve, lies the fabulously wide sandy beach of Baia dei Mori, only 400 m from the villa.
Due to its location, the holiday home Villa Zappalà is just perfect to become acquainted with all the facets Sicily has to offer. Bathing vacationers appreciate the nearby sea. Within the Oasi del Simeto as well as the Etna regional park, active vacationers will find almost unlimited possibilities:
Watch rare species of birds like the bee-eater in the Oasi del Simeto. A guided tour to Mount Etna is surely among the most thrilling experiences during a holiday on Sicily.
And, naturally, you are attracted to the east coast where vibrant Catania with its famous fish market, the Amphitheatre of Taormina, the wonderful Old Town of Syracuse and the Baroque gems of Noto and Ragusa await you.

A large, roofed terrace of about 20 sqm in front of the entrance and, of course, the roof terrace with view of Mount Etna and accessible by an external staircase provide outdoor living area. You can use the barbecue and stone oven to create delicious meals for dinner.

The house itself is ground-level. The double bedroom has a ceiling fan. The twin bedroom accommodates a cot, if required.
The third bedroom with double bed can also be used as a living room.
The bed-settee, two chairs, Sat-TV with German and English channels, radio and a record player provide for the right atmosphere. Alternatively, the bed-settee might serve as a sleeping accommodation for a possible seventh guest.
Furthermore, your Sicilian holiday home offers an eat-in-kitchen as well as a bathroom with a small corner tub including shower device/bidet/WC.
The owners have given a good deal of practical thought to the layout and furnishing of the house: The eat-in-kitchen gives access to the roofed terrace.
The washing machine is to be found in a separate washroom. Iron and ironing board are available. After a day at the beach, you will gladly use the outdoor shower.
Air conditioning with integrated heating, two mobile fans and a small gas heater provide for pleasant temperatures on hot as well as cool days.
You can park your car on the fenced premises.

Prices for this holiday home on Sicily are valid per week for the number of persons given in brackets incl. bed linen, towels and final cleaning. Possible costs for the air conditioning with integrated heating and the small gas heater will be charged on the spot. A deposit of 100 Euros is due upon arrival.
